Rural Paws is your dog’s home away from home in Welcome Bay, Tauranga.
We offer full-service doggy daycare and boarding kennels, so your four-legged friend can enjoy a day out, socialise with other dogs and keep good company while you are on holiday.
A busy dog is a happy dog, which is why our dog daycare is perfect – we have four acres of land and a fully fenced outdoor area, giving your pup plenty of room to play. Your dog will pass the day fetching balls, running through tunnels, chasing bubbles and gnawing on chew toys. And there’s plenty of comfy couches and shaded spots for a restorative nap.
The owner of this Tauranga dog boarding kennel, Hugh, is a retired dentist who loves offering care and attention to dogs and pets. He is qualified in animal care and first aid. Never far from animals, Hugh currently enjoys farming a small herd of Angola goats – the two hand-reared sheep are completely dog-friendly! Hugh leads an experienced team of passionate staff who are happiest when playing with, training and socialising dogs.
We keep our numbers small with only 15 dogs at a time to make sure each and every furry friend is comfortable and taken care-of. With no large dogs, our dog daycare centre is the perfect place for shy dogs who prefer smaller groups and smaller dogs.
Are you looking for a day retreat or overnight dog kennels in Tauranga? Talk to Rural Paws about our doggy day care and make the most of free pick-up and delivery in the Bay of Plenty.
